A half-day retreat for mothers to rest, replenish, and reconnect through Ayurveda’s timeless teachings.

Restoring Balance, Vitality & Wholeness
Through the Sacred Art of Sutika Kala

—and so is healing.

Whether your baby is in your arms or your children are grown, the imprint of birth still lives in your body.

In Ayurveda, this sacred window of time is called Sutika Kala — the postpartum period of rest, nourishment, and renewal. When that care is missed or incomplete, the body may continue to carry depletion, exhaustion, and emotional residue for years or even decades.

This gathering invites you to pause… to remember that your body is still worthy of deep care.

Through Ayurvedic nourishment, warm oils, gentle movement, and the power of sisterhood, you’ll learn how to restore the deep reserves that motherhood so often spends.

A morning of embodiment, education, and replenishment — guided by Cory Tixier, Ayurvedic Doctor, in the serene setting of her private healing home on the North Shore of O‘ahu.

Cory Tixier, Ayurvedic Doctor | Massage Therapist | Yoga Therapist

Cory Tixier is a lineage-based Ayurvedic Doctor and educator devoted to helping women rediscover balance and vitality through traditional healing arts.

With over two decades of experience bridging Eastern wisdom and embodied therapy, she guides women to heal not just symptoms, but systems — physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Her approach is both ancient and deeply personal: intuitive, earth-based, and rooted in the understanding that when a mother is nourished, the whole world heals.

“It gave me back a piece of myself I didn’t even know I’d lost.”
— Jamie, mom of two (Honolulu)

I came to the workshop exhausted — the kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix. Within an hour, I felt my whole system start to exhale. The self-Marma practice Cory taught was so simple yet so powerful… I still use it before bed to calm down and reconnect.

I left feeling more like me — warm, grounded, and actually hopeful about caring for myself again. It gave me back a piece of myself I didn’t even know I’d lost.

“It changed how I understand motherhood — and my body.”
— Alana, first-time mom (North Shore)

I’ve read plenty about postpartum recovery, but no one had ever explained it the way Cory did. The Ayurvedic perspective on Sutika Kala completely shifted how I see this phase of my life.

I used to think I was just failing at “bouncing back.” Now I understand that my body is still healing — and deserves warmth, rest, and nourishment. This workshop felt like medicine for both my mind and my nervous system.

“Cory’s presence alone is healing..”
— Sarah, yoga teacher & doula (Kailua)

I joined thinking it would give me more tools to support my clients, but it ended up being deeply personal. Cory holds space with such grace and wisdom. Her way of teaching is both ancient and completely relevant.

I walked away with a deeper appreciation for my own cycles — and practical rituals I now share with the mothers I work with. Honestly, it was more transformative than some of the longer trainings I’ve taken.

You don’t need to escape your life to return to yourself.

This is your invitation to pause, to be nourished, and to remember the rhythm your body already knows.
