Discover what makes an Āyurvedic cleanse so unique and learn how identify which aspects of a Āyurvedic cleanse are right for your constitution.
GO AT YOUR OWN PACE - START ANYTIME
Āyurveda sharpens our senses, allowing us to be in tune with evident and subtle indicators that it is time for rejuvenation.
Our body, in need of a cleanse, sends us signals: digestive challenges, food cravings, lack of focus, trouble sleeping, low energy, and extreme stress are just some examples of these signals.
In Āyurveda we use the terms SHAMANA and SHODHANA to designate the different aspects of a proper cleanse.
For true health to be possible we must clear away the residue of our undigested thoughts, emotions, and foods. There are many ways to cleanse both physically and energetically; but we must choose the process that best suits our needs, our personalities, and our constitutions.
Our body desires to keep us aligned with nature, in sync with both daily and seasonal rhythms. Seasonal cleanses allow us the opportunity to slow down and get a sense of our own rhythm. Cleanses provide us the time and space needed for our bodies to rest and re-set.
In this course, students will:
- Discover how to determine their baseline for health and the current state of any imbalance.
- Learn when the time is right to cleanse.
- Learn to identify which cleanses are appropriate for your constitution.
- Discover the different aspects of a proper cleanse.
- Learn methods for daily, seasonal, and yearly cleansing.
- Understand the concept of RASAYANA – rejuvenating, rebuilding, and reestablishing strength and resilience in the body post-cleanse.
So, join us for this fun and interactive learning experience and add the knowledge of Shamana & Shodhana to your healing repertoire.
